After morning, with crows and finches
they looking for something to eat
and me drinking stale coffee.
Worlds in grains of pollen
tossed by wind
make me sneeze.
Quiet of traffic noise
fills ears and my head,
wind songs continue to surprise me.
Broken fingers of soul
flutter try to catch
last remnants of free thought
before sinking into nothingness.
